AAIHDS Background:

The American Association of Integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems (AAIHDS) was formed in 1993 to serve the needs of evolving and mature integrated delivery systems. Our vision is to provide a dynamic, interactive partnership for IDS executives, physicians, medical directors, pharmacy directors and other healthcare professionals, and to ensure value-based healthcare in IPAs, PHOs and MSOs.

• Keynote: A 90-minute "big-picture" presentation relating to trends or the future of healthcare delivery.
• General: A 60-minute "how-to" presentation which will educate attendees on relevant healthcare topics.
• Case Study: A 45-minute presentation highlighting successes and/or failures within the context of managed care.

Application process:

1. Select a topic, preferably one from those listed on the next page of this pamphlet.
2. Develop a brief outline covering the presentation's major points.

4. Important Note: To be considered for the AAIHDS 2000 Spring Forum, your application and outline must be submitted by Friday, November 19, 1999. All applications received after this date will only be considered for future conferences.

Of course, you may also submit other topics which you feel are pertinent to IPAs, PHOs, MSOs and other forms of emerging or mature integrated delivery systems.
